Moonstream Tech prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on MeshChat, without exception. These are our published standards.
What is prohibited
- Creating, sharing, requesting or storing child sexual abuse material of any kind.
- Grooming: contacting or building a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sexualising minors, sextortion, and trafficking or soliciting minors.
- Any other content or behaviour that exploits or endangers children.
MeshChat is for adults (18+). Accounts used for any of the above violate our Terms of Use.
How to report
- In the app: open the chat → … → Şikayet et (Report), or long-press a message → Şikayet et. Choose "Çocukların güvenliğini tehdit eden içerik". You can block the person at the same time.
- By e-mail: moonstreamtech@gmail.com — please include the person's name#tag and, if possible, their account ID (shown in their profile).
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In Turkey you can also report online at ihbarweb.org.tr; elsewhere, the NCMEC CyberTipline or your national hotline (INHOPE).
What we do
MeshChat has no servers and messages are end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot see conversations or delete content from users' devices. When we receive a report we:
- review it promptly, with priority for anything involving a child;
- report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the competent authorities and to NCMEC, as required by law, together with the information in the report;
- cooperate with law enforcement requests to the extent we are able (we hold no message content or user data);
- keep the app's protections up to date: blocking, reporting, and adult-only use.
Compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws, including reporting obligations, in the countries where MeshChat is available.
