Frequently asked questions
What is Mozai?
Mozai is a calm color-by-number game. Every artwork is split into little tiles, every tile has a number and every number has a color. Pick a color from the palette, tap or slide over the tiles with its number, and watch the picture come to life. There are over 400 artworks in 7 levels, plus famous paintings, world wonders, space and under-the-sea collections.
Do I need internet to play?
Painting works offline. An internet connection is only needed for ads, Google's ad consent form, purchases and sending an artwork suggestion. No sign-in is required.
How do levels and special artworks open?
The first level is free. You earn XP by finishing artworks, taking the daily reward, collecting badges and, if you like, watching an optional video. Use XP to open the next level or a special artwork (famous paintings, world wonders, space, the sea).
Why are there ads?
Ads keep Mozai free: a banner at the bottom, a short video after every few finished artworks, and optional videos you can choose to watch for XP. Buying No ads removes the banner and the videos between artworks; the optional videos stay available if you want XP.
I bought something on a new phone and don't see it. What do I do?
Open the shop and tap Restore purchases. Items bought once (No ads, Photo mode, Starter Pack) come back on any phone with the same Google account. XP that was already added and your painting progress are stored on the old phone and cannot be moved.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are made through Google Play, so refunds follow Google's refund process.
Are my photos uploaded in photo mode?
No. You choose a photo with Android's photo picker and it is turned into tiles on your phone. The photo never leaves your device.
How do reminders work?
If you allow notifications, Mozai reminds you on days you haven't played (for example, that your daily reward is ready). Turn them off any time in Settings → Reminders.
Will my progress be saved if I close the app?
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically on your phone, and you continue right where you left off.
How do I delete my data?
Use Settings → Reset progress, clear the app's data in Android Settings → Apps → Mozai → Storage, or uninstall the game. Mozai keeps no data about you on our servers. If you sent an artwork suggestion and want it deleted, email us.
I clicked an ad by accident — am I charged?
No. Tapping an ad doesn't charge you. It simply opens the advertiser's content (typically the Play Store or a website). You can close it and return to the game.
I have an idea for an artwork. Where do I send it?
Use Suggest an artwork at the bottom of Settings or the Gallery, or email moonstreamtech@gmail.com. We read every idea.
