Scope
This policy explains how My Mini BBQ for Android, made by Moonstream Tech (“we”, “us”), handles information. It applies only to this game; the general Moonstream Tech Privacy Policy covers the studio as a whole.
Data on your device
Your progress — money, shop level, upgrades, crew, stock, menu choices, statistics and settings such as sound and language — is saved only in the game’s local storage on your phone. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it. It is removed when you reset your progress in the game’s settings, clear the app’s data or uninstall the game. Because it is not backed up by us, it cannot be restored or moved to a new phone.
Data we collect
None through the game itself. My Mini BBQ has no accounts, no sign-in and no online leaderboard. We do not run a server for this game, and we do not sell personal data. Data goes only to Google — for advertising, for app analytics and crash reports (Firebase) and, if you buy something, for in-app purchases — and, where you allow it, to Meta to measure our own advertising, as described below.
Advertising and consent
My Mini BBQ is free to play and is supported by ads from Google AdMob. The game shows a banner ad, an optional rewarded ad (“FREE $100”) that you choose to watch, and an occasional full-screen (interstitial) ad when your shop closes (at most once every two minutes).
When an ad is requested or shown, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process, on Google’s behalf:
- your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers
- your IP address, from which an approximate (coarse) location can be derived
- device and app information such as model, operating system, language, app version and network type
- ad interactions such as impressions, clicks and whether a rewarded ad was completed
- diagnostic data such as SDK errors and performance information
This data is used to deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads, to prevent fraud and, where you allow it, to personalise ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your choice with Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads are shown. If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use contextual information and limited data for measurement and fraud prevention.
The data collected by AdMob is controlled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. See also: How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
App analytics and crash reports (Firebase)
To understand how the game is played and to fix problems, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.). They do not identify you by name and we do not use them for advertising to you.
- Analytics: an app instance ID and, where allowed, your advertising ID; device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version, country); app usage such as sessions, first open, how many days you come back, and game events like finishing the tutorial, reaching a new shop level or watching a rewarded ad; in-app purchases reported by Google Play.
- Crash reports: when the game crashes or hits an error, technical details such as the error message, the place in the code, device model, operating system and app version.
We use this only to improve the game, its balance and its stability. Firebase data is controlled under the Google Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase; Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days.
Ad measurement (Meta)
We advertise My Mini BBQ on Facebook and Instagram. To find out whether those ads work, the game includes the Meta SDK (Facebook App Events) from Meta Platforms. It does not show ads and does not use Facebook Login: you do not need a Facebook account, and the game never reads your Facebook data.
When it is allowed, the Meta SDK sends Meta:
- your device’s advertising ID and basic device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version)
- that the game was installed and opened
- a few game events: finishing the tutorial, reaching a new shop level and watching a rewarded ad
- for purchases, the product, price and currency — never your payment details
Meta uses this to measure and improve our ad campaigns and, under its own policies, to improve its ad services. Automatic logging is turned off, so nothing is sent until the game has checked your consent choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, data is sent only if you accept storing information on your device and ad measurement in the consent form; you can change that choice at any time in the game’s settings. Everywhere, turning off ad personalisation or deleting your advertising ID in your phone’s settings limits what Meta can link to your device.
This data is controlled by Meta Platforms, Inc. / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. under the Meta Privacy Policy.
In-app purchases
My Mini BBQ can be played for free. The game’s store offers optional in-app purchases: one-time items (the starter pack, removing ads, double income and decor packs), packs of game cash, and an auto-renewing weekly VIP membership.
All payments are processed by Google Play Billing under your Google account. Your payment method, billing details and purchase history are collected and processed by Google, under the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Payments Privacy Notice. We never receive or store your card, bank or other payment details.
When you buy or restore something, Google Play tells the game on your phone:
- which product was bought and whether the payment is completed or still pending
- a purchase token and order ID that identify the transaction
- for the VIP membership, whether the subscription is active
The game uses this only to unlock what you bought, to confirm the purchase with Google Play and to restore it later. The list of items you own is kept in the game’s local storage on your phone; it is not sent to us. Only the product, price and currency of a purchase are reported to Meta for ad measurement, as described above.
As the developer, we can see order records in the Google Play Console — such as the order ID, product, price and currency, country and date. They do not include your payment details. We use them only for accounting, refunds and support.
One-time items and an active VIP membership are tied to your Google account, so you can bring them back on a new phone with Restore purchases. Game cash that has already been added and your progress cannot be restored. If you buy Remove ads or are a VIP member, banner and full-screen ads are no longer shown; rewarded ads stay optional.
The VIP membership renews every week until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time with Manage subscription in the game’s store or in the Google Play app; see how to cancel a subscription on Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund process.

Retention and deletion
The game does not send us any data, so we keep none from it. Data on your phone stays until you reset progress, clear the app’s data or uninstall the game. Order records for purchases are kept by Google Play, and by us for as long as needed to provide your purchases and to meet legal and tax obligations. Google keeps advertising and payment data, and Meta keeps ad measurement data, according to their own retention periods, described in the Google Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also:
- reset your advertising ID or delete it in your phone’s Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads)
- cancel the VIP membership or review your purchase history in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions
- uninstall the game, which removes all data stored on your device (uninstalling does not cancel a subscription)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
