Frequently asked questions
What is Last Tile?
Last Tile is a calm merge + survival puzzle. You merge matching tiles to climb tiers, unlock new cells, and grow the board. The run ends when no adjacent pair remains.
Do I need internet to play?
The gameplay itself works offline. An internet connection is only needed for ads and for submitting scores to the global leaderboard. No sign-in is required — your scores are submitted automatically whenever you’re online.
How does the Shield (Koruma) work?
The Shield counter on the HUD shows how many shields you have. You start with 1. To clean a hazard tile (Fire, Ice or Poison) back to a Normal tile of the same value, either:
- Tap the Shield counter to arm it, then tap a hazard tile, or
- Long-press the Shield counter and drag it onto a hazard tile.
The original tile value stays the same after cleansing. When the shield counter hits zero, tapping it opens an optional rewarded video dialog — watching the full ad grants three more shields. Shields persist across restarts; only clearing app data resets them.
Why are there ads?
Ads keep Last Tile free. The bottom banner is non-intrusive and never overlays the board. Rewarded video ads are entirely optional — they only appear when you choose to watch one in exchange for shields.
How do I see my score on the global leaderboard?
Open the in-game Leaderboard and switch to the Global tab. No sign-in is required — Last Tile uses an anonymous Firebase identifier assigned automatically when you first open the app. Your scores are submitted automatically each time you reach a new personal best, finish a run, or restart.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data via Android Settings → Apps → Last Tile → Storage removes everything stored locally on your device. Your anonymous Firebase leaderboard record (display name and best score) stays on Google’s servers until manually deleted — please email moonstreamtech@gmail.com if you’d like it removed.
I clicked an ad by accident — am I charged?
No. Tapping an ad doesn’t charge you. It simply opens the advertiser’s content (typically the Play Store or a website). You can close it and return to the game.
Will Last Tile have in-app purchases?
Not currently. If we ever add in-app purchases, we’ll be transparent about it in the release notes and update the in-app data safety disclosure beforehand.
Will my progress be saved if I close the app?
Yes. Your current run is automatically saved after every action. When you reopen the app, you resume on the exact same board.
How do I request a refund?
Last Tile is free to install. If you ever make a Play Store purchase and need a refund, please follow Google’s refund process.
